JD’s Roofing and Repair, LLC is family-owned and operated by two generations of roofers. JD Reed has been installing roofing or doing some type of construction work since he was 16 years old. He came from a modest family with just enough to get by and plenty of joy along with it. I have always enjoyed how to create things that will last and things I could build with my hands. I started roofing for a company in Candler right after I got married. We soon had a son; the rest is history, as they say. “
JD’s Roofing and Repair” started as “a no-name, part-time job” on the weekend to make extra money as I continued my Monday through Friday for years. After about four years of doing both, I started JD’s Roofing and Repair full-time and have not regretted it one bit. I enjoy taking something that may be a problem for a homeowner and making it something they can be proud of for years to come. This is what drives me to make every customer I have 110% happy with whatever project we may do for them.
